Cannabinoids and Sickle Cell Disease 2.0
Recent research is shedding light on the potential efficacy of cannabis in alleviating the pain associated with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). Despite these promising findings, the recognition of SCD as a qualifying condition for medical marijuana remains limited, with a fraction of states officially approving its use in this context. This highlights the ongoing need for broader acknowledgment and exploration of alternative treatments for individuals grappling with the challenges of SCD.
During this virtual talk we plan to speak with cannabis patients and professionals who advocate for medical cannabis.
