Racial inequity is baked into the cannabis space. As a result, black people seeking to join the cannabis space often face tremendous barriers. To drive out this “darkness,” several media groups have sprung up to center BIPOC entrepreneurship and pathways into the cannabis industry. Media is at the core of the equitable development of the cannabis industry. Marijuana Matters is inviting some key black media entrepreneurs to the stage to share their stories and discuss equity in the cannabis ecosystem.
Speakers include Andrew Farrior with Players Only Holdings, Kassia Graham with Cannaclusive, Mehka King with Cash Color Cannabis, and Tiffany Watkins with Vanguard Media Online.
