Marijuana Matters (M2) has hubs in Washington, D.C., Massachusetts and Mississippi.
Through advocacy, entrepreneurship, and education, Marijuana Matters (M2) identifies and eliminates barriers to economic opportunity in regulated cannabis markets for those disadvantaged by marijuana’s criminalization. Our vision is simple: repair what’s been dismantled, restore what’s been destroyed, and reclaim what’s been displaced.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS
We believe utilizing a social equity framework with respect to public policy decisions related to cannabis legalization is essential to the creation of a strong and viable marijuana industry. Both government and private industry bear responsibility for creating an industry that does NO harm. Marijuana Matters seeks a collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship with cannabis consumers, policymakers, industry leaders, and advocacy communities to meet the intended outcomes of our work. We call this intersectionality.
