Juneteenth Event - Freedom Stories

The Freedom Stories event is about looking back as we move forward. We're holding space in observance of the abolition of slavery in Texas in 1865, two years after the emancipation proclamation was signed. Equally, this is an opportunity to discuss the delayed freedom for individuals and communities impacted by failed drug war policies.

This year we look forward to spotlighting the new freedoms of Corvain Cooper and his team as they now pivot to help others imprisoned behind a plant that is now openly grown, exchanged, and traded on Wall Street in most of America.

Join us to hear the story of Corvain and Loriel/and the 40 Tons brand and how Marijuana Matters will continue to lift up voices less heard that can make a positive impact in the world.
